No Man's Sky Serves Live Service Master Class As Steam Reviews Tip Into 'Very Positi

It's no secret among gamers that No Man's Sky had a rocky launch. When the game launched over eight years ago, it was nearly universally slammed by gamers for its lack of completion and failure to deliver on lofty goals. Since then, though, the game's developer, Hello Games, has issued several updates, adding content and improving mechanics to a point where most consumers—at least those on Steam—are apparently happy with the state of No Man's Sky.

According to SteamDB, in January 2017, just three months after No Man's Sky launched, it had more than twice as many negative Steam reviews as positive. That situation started to change in around July 2018, when a spike in positive reviews rolled in after the nearly revolutionary No Man's Sky Next update. At that point, No Man's Sky still had a roughly 50-50 split between positive and negative reviews, but it was already trending upwards after the initial wave of just over 55,000 negative reviews. Since then, with every major update, the number of cumulative positive reviews seemed to climb a little more. As of today, however, No Man's Sky has an 81% positive review rating on Steam, having recently passed the 80% threshold to be considered "Very Positive." Read full story

ISO/SAE 21434 is an international standard for in-vehicle system cybersecurity, providing a framework and guidance for automakers and suppliers to fortify protection against external hacking. As vehicle connectivity and automation technologies evolve, cybersecurity risks have risen, with unauthorized control and system vulnerabilities potentially posing significant threats to drivers and passengers. ISO/SAE 21434 certification allows suppliers to more effectively address these cybersecurity challenges, enhancing product security and reliability. Phison began preparing for ISO/SAE 21434 certification in 2023, completing the certification process in about a year. Initially, its automotive division conducted an internal self-assessment, followed by course training, gap analysis, and risk assessment workshops facilitated by external auditors. This included close to six months of process consultation and internal manual revisions, culminating in the final audit. (PR) SK hynix Starts Mass Production of World's First 321-High NAND

SK hynix Inc. announced today that it has started mass production of the world's first triple level cell-based 321-high 4D NAND Flash with 1 Tb capacity. Following its previous record as the industry's first provider of the world's highest 238-layer NAND since June last year, SK hynix has become the world's first supplier of the NAND with more than 300 layers by finding a technological breakthrough for stacking. The company plans to provide the 321-high products to customers from the first half of next year.

Stacking more than 300 layers came into reality as the company successfully adopted the "3 plugs" process technology. Known for its excellent production efficiency, the process electrically connects three plugs through an optimized follow-up process after three times of plug processes are finished. For the process, SK hynix developed a low-stress material, while introducing the technology that automatically corrects alignments among the plugs. Read full story
